Randomness.

Starting Monday I am going to be a very happy girl. Why?? I am starting a new schedule at work and won't be stuck there until 10-11pm at night. I will now be getting off at 7:30pm which means I don't have to close anymore...woooohoooo.
I haven't been online much this week, I think the main reason is because I spend 9-10 hours a day staring at a computer screen. Coming home and staring at another one just doesn't seem appealing.

On my days off I have been trying to get this place organized, the clutter was starting to get to me. The second bedroom has been nothing but storage since we moved in here. Joe straightened it up this week that was I could go in there and have room to work. Joe and I want to get a twin bed for that room for when we have guest, we are hoping that one day soon that will be our babies room :) Even when we do have a baby we will still keep the twin bed in there, I think that room is going to be the multi-purpose room.

Last night I decided to try to get our bills and other paper work organized. I cleaned out the filing cabinet of stuff we didn't need and replaced it with new paperwork we have accumulated, I feel accomplished. I am not feeling that great today, so I am taking it easy next weekend I will be tackling the other bedroom.

I am really excited, Joe and I have decided to have my niece come visit us this summer. She is going to be here for at least a month. I still need to get her plane ticket, boy oh boy it really isn't going to be cheap. The plane ticket is only $184 round trip, that isn't the problem. Since she is only 11 years old she will need to have a flight attendent, I have done this before for my nephew Jacob when he was around the same age. Things have changed, now you have to pay an extra $100 each way. Thank God my sister is paying for half of the ticked. I just didn't think it was going to cost more than the ticket to have her fly here.

It is worth it though, my neice and I are very very close. Her father was in a car accident when she was 18mos old, he ended up passing away after pelvic surgery a week after the accident. After the accident I had talked to her father (before he passed) he made me promise if anything ever happened to him I would help take care of Arlette. I didn't think it would happen so soon. I became Mommy2 to Arlette.

I can't wait till she comes here and we can do some muched needed Aunt Cynthia and Letty-Poo bonding.

Well that is all for now I am going to veg in bed since I am not feeling good.

Until Later.

Wedding Day

Right now I am sitting here listening to one of my play list, Tim McGraw. I love me some Tim McGraw, I would so fight Faith Hill for him. Yeah, I know she will win...lol. I am not really into Country Music, I do like some of it. Shoot I love all types of music.

I should listen to my Bee Gee's playlist and see what that inspires me to write...

Anywho, I figured I would listen to some Tim McGraw since our song is My Best Friend.

So I went threw (is it that or through? my brain isn't working tonight...lol.) some of our wedding pictures.

Here they are.

That is all for now, I will post more later. I had disposable cameras too, when I got them developed I got CD's with them. I will have to post some of them, there are so funny ones.

As you can tell I love sunflowers, I have then all over my house. I made all of the hand pieces, the flowers for the guys, the center pieces, favors and more. I even had them in my hair, and my niece threw little sunflower buds when she went down the Isle.

It was my perfect day, I wouldn't have done a thing different (well except get drunk...lol). It wasn't an expensive wedding, like I said I made mostly everything. I looked for a lot of deals, my oldest brother cooked Prime Rib and a Chicken dish I can't remember the name of...lol.

I didn't have a photographer, I was happy with all of my friends and family getting the candid pictures. Some of the pictures really came out nice.

Well that is all for now.

Until Later.

My Bestie!

I have been really busy with work, I am working about 50 hrs a week, I could work more if I wanted but I do want a life outside of work. This entry isn't going to be full of work stuff, I am trying to leave work at work. Let's just say I am happy to be off this weekend.

I had off today too, woohoo. Joe and I got a lot done today. He had 2 doctor appointments, just a normal check-up at the family doc, and check up at the Workman's Comp doc.

When he got home I was on the phone with my BFFL (Best friend for life..lol) Audrey. Audrey and I have been friends for 21 years she was 4 and I was 7 when we met, and the rest is history. We have been through EVERYTHING together, and have always been the best of friends. Her wedding, my wedding, her babies, hopefully soon my babies.

She has 2 babies, Patty Cake who is almost 18 months, she is a little stinker she looks just like her Momma did when she was little. She is a Momma's girl just like Audrey was. October Audrey and her husband Woody welcomed their little boy into this world, Little Woody who happens to be my Godson.

Here are some Pictures.

Well, that is all for this entry. Hubby is hungry, guess I should get dinner ready. We are only having sandwiches, that is what we have for dinner every time we go food shopping.

Jumping On The Bandwagon...

Well it is official, I have jumped on the Twilight Saga bandwagon. I finished the first book of the Saga yesterday morning took me little more than 1 day to read it. Yeah I couldn't put it down...lol. I was going to run to the store today to go get New Moon because it would have been nice to curl up and read it after I got done cleaning today, but I didn't.

Just a few minutes ago I was paying bills and was curious to see how much the next book would cost me on Amazon. Yeah I ended up ordering it plus Eclipse and Breaking Dawn it only cost $30 and some change after shipping. Only bad thing it will be a few days until I can sink my teeth into the next book, so to speak...haha. (I had to)

I was surprised that I actually liked the first one, being that book was written for a teen audience.

Anywho, onto a different topic. I just found out this week that one of my close friends is pregnant. I am soooooooo jealous and I hate that!!!! The worst part is she wasn't even trying...ughhhhh.

I watched the movie Juno if you haven't seen it, it's about a teen girl who gets pregnant and decides to give it up for adoption. The couple that she wants to give the baby to isn't able to have a baby. It was actually an ok movie, but the whole time I kept thinking that was going to be me, the one that couldn't have babies.

I know that if it does come down to it, we have other options like adoption and feritility drugs. That scares me too because it is so expensive and Joe and I don't have money like that.

Oh well I am not going to think like that right now. We have put the baby making process on hold for a bit so see if I can get my sugar under order. I know God will give us a baby when the time is right. Who knows maybe God is wating for us to get a house.

Well I guess that is all for now, now that I am all sad and stuff :(

Until later

Not Enough Time

Well I am home now and I had a wonderful time, it just wasn't enough time.

I'll start with Friday. I arrived in Philly around 10 am and had no sleep the night before, yep I was like a little kid on Christmas Eve. I was just so excited I tried sleeping on the plane that didn't work.

I was stuck next to some guy that smelled like rotten garlic, I really don't know what rotten garlic really smells like, but I am sure this guy smelled like it...lol. So yeah that was no fun. My sister was waiting for me near baggage claim, I was so happy to see her then we were off. It was really weird being back in PA, nothing really changed yet it all seemed so different.

We went to my best friends house and I got to meet my Godson he looks like a little old man, if you put thick black glasses on him he would look like that Six Flags dude...lol. Her daughter has gotten big, she is now walking and talking jibberish. She warmed up to me quick because I was sitting on the floor playing Pooh with her...lol.

My bf, sister and I went out to get lunch... of course the first thing I had to have was a cheesesteak, it was yummy!!!! Then we took Audrey back home and went to my Mom's. We couldn't go right there because my nephew was at the sitters and he couldn't see me until after school.

My Mom was at work so I took advantage of her bed and took a 2 hour nap (it wasn't nearly enough). My sister woke me up a few mins before the kids got off the bus. My niece knew I was coming so I was really looking for my nephews reaction, he didn't notice me at first and then stopped dead in his tracks and yelled "Aunt Cynthia". I cried...lol.

I got hugs from both of them and my wonderful 10 year old neice looks at me and puts her hands on my face and said 'It's so good to see your face' ugh it makes me want to cry now.

So we went back to my Mom's and hung out, of course the kids just talked my ear off I couldn't stop hugging them. My nephew who is just 5 kept asking me if I was moving back to PA. Yeah pulling at your heartstrings.

So it was time to go pick up my Mom. My sister went into her work first to let my Mom's customers know to be quiet when I walk in (they all know me). Well my sister gave me the all clear and just as I was walking in my Mom was coming out of her office. My sister was in front of me and moved to the side and that it when my Mom saw me.

She was soooooo shocked, she just said 'What are you doing here?' We hugged and cried, then she had to go back into her office and calm down. Needless to say she was happy, and surprised. She had NO clue. When I told her she had Saturday off she didn't believe me. Yep I called her boss and asked if she could have the day off, again she didn't know about that...lol.

I gave her the ring and she loved it, she kind of had a clue she was getting a ring, because before I ordered it I needed to ask her ring size. It fit her perfect and she said she is never taking it off.

It was a short 4 days, I wish I could have stayed longer but I gotta work. I spent most of the time with my Mom, sister and the kids. I went to my Godson's baptism and stopped by my Dad's work twice (not really close to him). Other than that I really didn't hang out with other friends. This visit was about my family.

Monday night I put the kids to bed and my nephew kept asking me to stay one more day. My niece was crying because I was leaving the next morning. That was the hardest part of the whole trip saying goodbye all over again. I plan on going back again this year, my Mom wants to come down after tax time and I may have my niece come down this summer for a month or so.

It was a good trip other than Monday when I ended up getting sick to my tummy, I think it was from lack of sleep. I didn't get even close to 6 hours of sleep a night while I was there. When the kids were awake I was spending the time with them and when they went to sleep I was either hanging with my Mom or my sister.

(Note for next trip --- Get plenty of sleep beforehand)

All and all it was a great trip, I can't wait to see everyone again. I'll post pictures later, I am too tired and it is back to work for me tomorrow.

Until Later

The Ring Came!!!!!

Well if all goes right I should be landing in Philly in a little over 12 hrs, I can't wait.

The ring I bought my Mom came today, Thank God!!!! Here are some pictures I took of it. Is it just me or does the center stone look more on the pink side than Ruby?? Oh well it looks like a ruby in person...lol.

Photobucket

This is the side view with my brother's names, Gregory and Phillip. The stones are placed in out birth order, Greg being the oldest of course. Greg's birthday is in August and Phillip is in April.

Photobucket

There here is my sister and I, Kimberly and Cynthia. Kim's birthday is in December and mine is October. I wish they would have had opal, you know I couldn't find a ring anywhere that would put an opal in it!!!!

Photobucket

I am sooooooooo happy it came. I can't wait to give it to her, I am going to take her out to dinner and give it to her then. That's if she wants to go out to dinner tomorrow night, if not I will give it to her at home. I didn't want to resize the pictures too small because I wanted you to be able to see the names.

Well this will be my last post until I come back. I own't have my laptop with me, and I am not sure if my sister has the internet right now. See ya next week!!

Until later.
