Day 04 – What you ate today.

So I realized that I am lacking pictures on here, I promise I will try harder to add pictures in further posts.

Today I get to tell you about all of the stuff I pigged out on today...lol.

Well since I slept until 10:30 this morning and I can't eat for about 2 hours after I wake up, my first meal of the day was lunch.  I had a ham and cheese sandwich on whole wheat bread and some chips, nothing too exciting.

Since we had a little cookout yesterday, I had left over macaroni and potato salads so we grilled some hot dogs and had the salads with that.

I also shared some Cheez-its with the dogs, it is one of the only people food they are aloud to have...lol.

Also since I do this every single night, I will have a pickle a little while before bed that is my midnight snack :)

Now that we are jumping out of our seats with excitement from this post I think I will end it, I don't want to wear anyone out ;)

Until later

Day Three – Your parents

So today is the day that I have to talk about my 'rents!  I am not going to explain their relationship history other than the fact that have been divorced since I was around 8.
We will start of with my Dad, who turned 61 years old in April (it amazes me that my parents are in their sixties).  Growing up I was always Daddy's little girl, I looked up to him and always enjoyed the time we spent together just him and I.  My Dad re-married four or five years after my parents divorced (the women he married was the woman he was cheating on my Mom with) I DO NOT get along with my Step-mom.  Which put a lot of strain on my relationship with my Dad, it was hard having to share him with a woman who wasn't your Mother.

My Dad knows I love him, and I know he loves me too we just have issues expressing it to each other.  He is always there if I need him to be, he will do whatever he can to make things right for me.  We don't even talk much, I can go a few months without talking to him, and when we do talk it is always so formal.  I am trying to change that though, I call more often and give updates on school (I am the first of my siblings to go to school so he is super proud).  I don't want anything to happen to him and then I have regrets.  My Daddy is my hero, and he has no clue...that has to change :)

Now onto my Mommy!!  I love my Mommy.  The main reason I hate living 900 miles away from my family is because I miss my Mommy sooooo much!  She just turn 60 in July and I got to spend her birthday with her!   I can talk to my Mom about anything and everything,  she is my best friend!  She has never re-married and to tell you the truth I think that the guys she has hated have never been good enough for her.

My plan is when she is able to retire she is going to move down here to Tennessee and I will take care of her.  My Mom has done so much for all of her kids, if we need something we know who to go to and most of the time she doesn't say no.  Shoot she will help anyone, there was a homeless guy who lived near her work, he had no family and was living in a laundry mat.  My Mom used to invite him over on holidays for family dinner and let him shower, when he came over for Christmas she would make sure he had new clothes to open when we opened our presents.  I get my compassion from my Mom, if you needed 10 bucks and it was her last 10 bucks she would give it to you.

She is just an amazing woman, and I am proud that she is my Momma!!!

So I could write so much more about my parents there are tons of things I left out.  But I am tired and if I don't get this posted in 2 mins it will technically be tomorrow.

Until later

Day Two - Your First Love

I looked at the time and I realized that I needed to get this done, and I have to do it quick.

I have been cleaning all day and for the last few hours I have been bumming around when I could have been making potato and macaroni salad for a little picnic tomorrow.

Anywho, onto the topic.

My first love...

My first love was my high school sweetheart, Dan.  We went to different schools, but saw each other all of the time...we were 17 and in love :)

We were each others first for everything, first love, first lover, first heartbreak.  My family love him, his mother thought I was a bad influence on him, ummm no he was a typical teenage boy.  It just so happened I was the girl who he fell in love with.

Dan and I had a fun love, we went everywhere we could together, the beach, dinners, movies, family dinners.  I have a really fond memory of him, one Valentine's day we both had school that day and I had to work that night so we were going to have our V-day a few days later.  So I am at work and it is sleeting out and he drove all the way to my work in horrible weather to give me one dozen roses and candy and a bear.

I remember a time after we graduated high school we decided one weekend to just drive to the Jersey shore and rent a room for the weekend...we didn't tell our parents until we were already there.  We had a great weekend, it was our first vacation together...just the two of us...lol.

I think that is all I will share on Dan, he still holds a special part of my heart and I think about him often.  I know he is married with kids now and I hope he is living the life he has always wanted.

Thinking about him brought back so many memories...  I think I like this 30 day challenge!

Day One...Introduce

Day 01 – Introduce

I know I said that this post would be done last night but school work, cooking dinner, and lounging around took first priority (actually I totally forgot about it).

Here goes nothing...

To most people I am Cynthia, there are a few people in my life that call me Cindy for the most part I am Cynthia.  I will be the big 3-0 a month from today, the thought of turning 30 scared me a bit when I started thinking about it.  Now I realize that 30 is the new 20 so I am cool...lol.

I have been with my husband almost 6 years now, married for 3 of those years.  We have no kids yet, which I will explain in a little bit.  But, we do have 2 great dogs.  Denver is our White German Shepherd who will be 5 years old on the 14th of this month.  Dakota is a mutt, plain and simple.  She is a year old and we rescued her last year, she too is mostly white and a total love bug!  I love my dogs very much and if you read this blog you will soon learn that.

I said I would talk about why my husband and I have no kids, well for one we have been married for 3 years using no protection and I am STILL not pregnant.  I don't know if it just isn't in our cards to have babies yet.  Plus last January I decided to go to school to become a Registered Nurse.  I just started my second semester this past Monday.  So we have decided to stop trying so I can focus on school, if it happens great we will welcome the baby of course.  I am just content with not having a baby right now, it will happen when the time is right.

Well I think that is pretty much who I am right this very moment.  I am sure you will learn more about my family in further entries...

Until later

30 Day Challenge!

I can't believe that it has been almost 9 months since I have posted anything.  I know the main reason I didn't post anything was because I had just started school when I created my last post.   If I was taking a break from school work I was on Facebook playing the stupid games on there...lol.

Fast forward to now, I don't play the games on Facebook anymore, they have become old news, I just started Fall semester this past Monday so yes I am going to be busy again with school work.  But, I have decided that I need something other than my normal daily activities to do so I don't go crazy this semester.  So I am going to try and become a better blogger.
Try of course is the key word!

I still do read other blogs, even though I am infamous for not commenting most people don't even know I read their blogs...yeah that sounds stalker-ish.  So I am also going to try to become a better blogger in that sense and leave more comments!

Since I do read other blogs, I ran across this 30-day challenge and thought what a more perfect way to get back into blogging.
