My Sister's Battle

Bad Blogger, Bad Bad Blogger.
Now, I am a bad blogger. There are a few blogs that I follow but not really 'follow' in the blogger sense. I just don't comment or let myself be known, it's weird face to face with someone and I can be silly, and good and talk your ear off but when it comes to online I am so afraid to let myself go.
Do you think that is strange?? I mean online you can be whoever you want to be, but I can't seem to even be me...lol. I have always been a social butterfly, but I have issue getting close to people, you can even ask my husband...lol.
How do you go about trying to befriend someone without making yourself look like a total fool??
Ahhh I will figure it out.
I have another post I am going to do but I didn't want to put everything into one blog.
Until later

Where does time go???
I think it was like 2 days after it happened and a woman that live across the street from us approached my husband when he was walking the dog. She seen the robbery happen but was afraid to say anything about it because she didn't want anything to happen to her ( I can understan). We told the detective but of course they haven't done anything and it is now April. We are just so frustrated that we decided to try to move on.
Since being robbed Joe and I have decided that it is time to look for a house. A few weeks ago we got a really nice check from Joe's workman's comp being increased so we got all of the retro pay. We went out and got new living room furnitre (which we really needed) and then the rest we used to pay off our debts.
Joe and I are now 100% debt free, it really feels great to be that way, even though we weren't that far into debt, it was enough to drag our credit score down. The money we had left over from that we opened a savings account to save for a down payment for a house. Let me tell you if it wasn't for the check we wouldn't have been able to do any of this.
So last week we met with the Morgage Loan Officer at our bank and he basiclly mapped out what we need to do in order to start house hunting. We had already done step one which is cleaning up our debts, but now of course we need to wait to all of that to be reported to the credit agencies which could take about a month.
The Loan Officer said that once it has gone through it will raise our credits scores to what they need to be in order to be approved for a loan. Another thing we need to wait for is, we need to have at least 3 bills that we have had for a year with good payment history (they need to be open accounts). Since we have only live down here in Tenessee for only a year and have only had bills in our name since October we may have to wait until then to fill out the application for a loan.
So it looks like we will be looking for a house sometime in the early fall. I wish it was sooner but we have to do what we can to get approved. With the way the housing market is they are really strict about who they are giving loans to. So keep your fingers crossed.
We have also decided to start trying to get pregnant again, I have been monitoring my sugar levels and have been doing a good job keeping them in good ranges. So yep we are trying to have a baby. I would really like to have my first before I am 30 years old and this October I will be 29. So send your baby dust my way...lol.
Other than that I have been working like crazy dealing with nutty customers. I am always so tired after work that I don't even get on the computer anymore. I spend 8 hrs a day staring at a computer screen the last thing I want to do is come home and stare at another.
Oh yeah I bought the ticket for my neice's trip down here. She will be here for almost a month, just shy of a few days. I can't wait to see her, my sister told me today that she thinks the may be getting her period soon... she is getting so big. I have a picture of her at work from her first Christmas she wasn't even a year old and how she is 11 and becoming a woman. Gosh, where does the time go???
My sister is coming down here to pick her up, I can't wait for that either it will be nice to hang out with my sister and see my nephew.
Well I am going to head to bed. I am off tomorrow and I plan on sleeping in.
Until next time.

Robbery!!!!
I went outside to smoke a cancer stick, I pulled my phone out like I normally do and I have 3 missed alerts. Two of them were missed calls and one voicemail. Both of the calls were from a friend of my husbands, when I seen that I though instantly that something happened to my husband. This friend wouldn't be calling me while I was at work, unless something was wrong.
So I check the voicemail, and it was my husbands voice. This is all that I heard "Hey Baby, we got robbed..." That was all I heard, I threw my cigarette on the ground and hurried back inside the building. I went right to my boss and said "I have to get home, my husband left me a VM stating that we were robbed".
I was frantic, I get home and my husband isn't there the friend mentioned above wife was there. So she tells me bits and pieces of what happened. When my husband got home I got the whole story.
Around 3:30ish my husband took my dog for a walk, now Denver goes for a about 5 walks a day maybe more I really don't keep count. In the morning his first walk last about 30 mins and same with his last walk of the day. So this walk was only a short one, maybe 10 mins.
Joe walks him up the street and back, now you can see my apartment from the end of the street but of course when Joe was walking Denver up the street his back is towards the house. This is when our house was broken into. Since Joe was going right up the street he really didn't think about locking the door.
Well as Joe is walking up the street coming back to our house, Joe sees our neighbor and his friend jump into 2 different cars and speed off. When Joe got back to the house the door was locked, thinking that he accidentally locked the door he went over to a above mentioned friends house (they live across the street) to get a butter knife to jimmy the door open.
He gets the door unlocked goes back across the street to return the knife and get Denver, when he came back he noticed the mouse for his laptop was sitting on the couch and that is when he noticed that it was gone. He went to get his cell phone to call the cops and it is gone, along with his wallet.
That, was all that was missing, they tried to get our Play Station 3 but I guess they didn't have enough time to get it. Only reason Joe knew that was because it was moved. Oh yeah they also got the key to our house that was sitting on the coffee table next to the laptop.
Joe knew right away that it was our neighbors, who just moved in a month ago, bad thing is we have no way to prove it because he didn't actually see them coming out of our house.
Cops took all of the info and even talked to our neighbor when he got back. Of course he denies having anything to do with it, but the cops don't believe him.
Joe went to the bank and had his bank card cancelled, but not fast enough, they got gas with the card, thankfully our bank was able to get that charge taking off. We also know which gas station it was so Joe went there and get this, they don't have camera's!!!! Which I think is bull because you would think they do in case people try to steal gas! The cops are checking it out though.
We went and got new locks for our doors, so that key they took is no good, and I don't have to worry about them trying to get into our house that way.
I am thankful that no one was hurt, but I am sooooooooooo pissed. Joe said it couldn't have been anyone else on the street, he said he didn't see anyone else on the street when he was taking Denver for a walk. There is only one way to get off of our street and the only cars to leave the street were our neighbors and their friends.
We have been nothing but nice to them since they moved in next door. One morning around 7am the girl that lives there knocked on our door asking to use a phone because her ride didn't pick her up for work and we let her. Then her boyfriend (same one from today) asked Joe if he had tools he could borrow to put up a blind, Joe ended up putting the blind up for him. When the guy thanked Joe, Joe said don't worry about it that is what neighbors do.
I swear they better not run into me. I am not going to start trouble, shit I am not getting the cops called on me. But, I won't keep my mouth shut I am from Philly I am not afraid of them. I am sure they think I am some hick, this city girl is far from a hick and I know how to run my mouth...lol. I also know in case he tries to sick his girlfriend on me to never throw the first punch.
Oh the best part of this, they took Joe's cell phone. Well Joe went to the Sprint store and got a new phone since we are both eligible for upgrades. So tonight I was on his phone talking to my best friend because mine was charging, when a strange number beeps through. When I answered it they hung up. So I called them back and they answered and hung up. I plan on giving the cops the number, who knows it could do something.
I am also going to look into companies that will look into Joe's credit because his SSN card was in his wallet. We want to buy a house in the next year or so, I need to make sure our credit is safe.
You know you see things like this on the news and in the papers and never think it could happen to you. These people were just waiting for Joe to take Denver for a walk, they would have never tried it if Denver was in the house because my neighbor is afraid of him. It makes me wonder if they were planning it, all the times they were nice to us. I wonder if it was all a game. Joe said he wishes he seen them coming out of our door because he would have let Denver off the leash.
Ughhhhhhhh, you don't know how hard it was for me to not knock on their door today and give them an earful. My landlord is pissed too, he is looking for a reason to kick them out now. Thank God I have a landlord who loves us, he told me tonight on the phone that we are the best tenets he has ever had and he was so sorry it happened to us.
Well it's super late and I have to get to bed because I do have to work in the morning. I just really need to vent. I really don't think these jack asses are going to get caught, but keep your fingers crossed that they do. I know that even if they don't get caught what they did today will come back to bite them in the ass.
Until later.

Randomness.
On my days off I have been trying to get this place organized, the clutter was starting to get to me. The second bedroom has been nothing but storage since we moved in here. Joe straightened it up this week that was I could go in there and have room to work. Joe and I want to get a twin bed for that room for when we have guest, we are hoping that one day soon that will be our babies room :) Even when we do have a baby we will still keep the twin bed in there, I think that room is going to be the multi-purpose room.
Last night I decided to try to get our bills and other paper work organized. I cleaned out the filing cabinet of stuff we didn't need and replaced it with new paperwork we have accumulated, I feel accomplished. I am not feeling that great today, so I am taking it easy next weekend I will be tackling the other bedroom.
I am really excited, Joe and I have decided to have my niece come visit us this summer. She is going to be here for at least a month. I still need to get her plane ticket, boy oh boy it really isn't going to be cheap. The plane ticket is only $184 round trip, that isn't the problem. Since she is only 11 years old she will need to have a flight attendent, I have done this before for my nephew Jacob when he was around the same age. Things have changed, now you have to pay an extra $100 each way. Thank God my sister is paying for half of the ticked. I just didn't think it was going to cost more than the ticket to have her fly here.
It is worth it though, my neice and I are very very close. Her father was in a car accident when she was 18mos old, he ended up passing away after pelvic surgery a week after the accident. After the accident I had talked to her father (before he passed) he made me promise if anything ever happened to him I would help take care of Arlette. I didn't think it would happen so soon. I became Mommy2 to Arlette.
I can't wait till she comes here and we can do some muched needed Aunt Cynthia and Letty-Poo bonding.
Well that is all for now I am going to veg in bed since I am not feeling good.
Until Later.

Wedding Day
I should listen to my Bee Gee's playlist and see what that inspires me to write...
Anywho, I figured I would listen to some Tim McGraw since our song is My Best Friend.
So I went threw (is it that or through? my brain isn't working tonight...lol.) some of our wedding pictures.
Here they are.
June 2nd 2007.
The Cake.
Girls.
Guys.
Little Bride and Groom.
Sisterly Love.
Minus My Oldest Brother.
This is my favorite picture.
That is all for now, I will post more later. I had disposable cameras too, when I got them developed I got CD's with them. I will have to post some of them, there are so funny ones.
As you can tell I love sunflowers, I have then all over my house. I made all of the hand pieces, the flowers for the guys, the center pieces, favors and more. I even had them in my hair, and my niece threw little sunflower buds when she went down the Isle.
It was my perfect day, I wouldn't have done a thing different (well except get drunk...lol). It wasn't an expensive wedding, like I said I made mostly everything. I looked for a lot of deals, my oldest brother cooked Prime Rib and a Chicken dish I can't remember the name of...lol.
I didn't have a photographer, I was happy with all of my friends and family getting the candid pictures. Some of the pictures really came out nice.
Well that is all for now.
Until Later.
